Meet the Team

We may be a small team but we’ve established a pretty solid routine. I’m a great believer in getting to know my clients. It’s always good to put a face to a name and get an idea of what you’re about. Here you can get to know a little more about me and my copy cat crew.

I’m a freelance copywriter based in Ipswich, Suffolk but I work with clients from all over the world. I’ve also lived in London (Uni), and, along with my backpack, have traveled to a fair few places over the years. I undertook my first copywriting job almost 10 years ago, when I was 19. However, it wasn’t until a few years ago that I began copywriting professionally. After gradually building up my copywriting business alongside my main job, I finally took the leap to turn freelance copywriter full time in late summer 2018, and I haven’t looked back. To date, I’ve assisted over 60 businesses and non-profits from all over the world on over 100 different projects, crafting expert copy to help them communicate who they are, what they do, and why they do it.

I live with my husband and the two professional purrmeisters pictured. When I’m not busy writing copy you’ll usually find me writing music, reading, adding to my increasing stash of comedic cat memes, or discussing my next adventure. I’m a keen environmentalist, and advocate for equal Human and Animal Rights. I also try and pay attention to politics.

Spud & Crumpet
Chief purrmeisters

SPUD (right): Likes: Naps, tuna, the garden, and playing “Hide & Sneak” and “Where’s Spud?”. Taking him to the vets unleashes a monster, but at home Spud’s a big softy.

CRUMPET (left) Likes: Playing fetch, barking at the wall (no word of a lie), and purring an impossible amount (bar dinner time, at which points he acts possessed.)

When they’re not busy supporting the business by napping, these cool-cats are partial to plenty of drama and can often be found recreating iconic scenes from Shakespeare’s “Hamlet” and Disney’s “The Lion King.”

You can find Spud and Crumpet tweeting over at @Spudmas.
